MCLEOD GANJ, India, 25 May 2008 — Tsering Lhamo is the women's gold medal winner of the Tibetan Olympics 2008. She scored 25 points out of 25. She was first in women's high jump, 80 metres hurdles, 80 metres dash, and long jump. She won a winner's cup and a cheque for 100,000 (2,500 USD approx).

Dorji Tsering is the Men's gold medal winner of the Tibetan Olympics 2008. He scored 30 out of 50 points. He was first in three sprints — 80 metres dash, 80 metres hurdles and 400 metres dash. He also received a winner's cup and a cheque for 100,000 rupees (2,500 USD approx).

Dhartso Kyi won the women's silver medal, a cup and a cheque for 50,000 (1250 USD approx). Dolkar Tso won the bronze medal, a cup and a cheque for 25,000 rupees (650 USD approx).

Dawa Dakpa was men's silver medal winner. He also won a cup and a cheque for 50,000 (1250 USD approx). Tenzin Choephel came in third place winning the bronze medal, a cup and a cheque for 25,000 rupees (650 USD approx).
